To find a quaint neighborhood, over the hill from Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles, check out Studio City homes. With a great mix of high rise condo buildings, historic homes, and mansions in the hills, there’s something to suit every lifestyle and budget. Studio City real estate is a great choice for commuters to downtown LA, Burbank and the Westside, as it’s located close to US 101, SR 134, and SR 170.
You don’t have to commute, however. The CBS Studio Center, which gives the area its name, is a great place to work. There’s also bustling commercial district along Ventura Boulevard. The Boulevard, as it’s locally known, is a great place for doctors, lawyers, and those in the financial and real estate sectors to have offices. The local chamber of commerce hosts networking events every month, in conjunction with other local chambers. This gives business owners throughout the San Fernando Valley the chance to get to know one another and forge helpful connections. The Studio City Chamber of Commerce also hosts an annual Business Expo at its Fourth of July Festival. It’s a great opportunity to bring the community and businesses together.
When it comes to shopping and dining, Studio City is hopping. Ventura Boulevard has a variety of funky boutiques and national chain brands. You can find authentic Mexican food, Japanese barbecue, and cozy taverns, just to name a few. There are also great coffee shops with filling breakfast options, as well as delicious salads and sandwiches for lunch.
Families considering Studio City homes will find tons of great school choices. The neighborhood public schools turn in strong scores on state testing and earn rave reviews from parents. There are also many excellent private and parochial schools, so parents will be able to find something to suit their children’s needs.
In sunny Southern California, just about everyday is a great day to be outside. Studio City has several fun parks, including Beeman Park (also called Studio City Recreation Center), which has lots of programs and classes for adults and kids. The baseball program is one of the largest in the LA parks system.
